Laura Ramirez is the Program Coordinator at the first international non-governmental organization working to oppose human trafficking, prostitution and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation. Laura has traveled across the United States, Spain and Mexico to educate and build a women-led movement for a feminist revolutionary resistance. Laura centers anti-imperialism in her feminist analysis, connecting the conquest of land to that of women's bodies. In addition to her work at CATW, Laura is also an organizer with AF3IRM, an organization of women engaged in transnational feminist activism through grassroots organizing. trans-ethnic alliance building, education, advocacy and direct action.
Laura is a born and bred New Yorker and proud graduate of Queens College, City University of New York where she earned degrees in International Politics and Philosophy.
