Teresa J. Helm is a trafficking survivor of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and
Sarah Kellen. Her abuse prior to being trafficked in the Epstein network started at the
age of eight years old and spanned several years. She was left living in deep shame,
confusion, and utter psychological devastation. Teresa also lived in self-imposed
silence, because of the terror her powerful perpetrators had implanted here. Her self-
esteem was shredded, which only served to deepen her shame and exacerbate her
silence. She then found herself falling into a dynamic of re-victimization.
Shortly before Teresa’s 28th birthday, she gave birth to a beautiful boy. Becoming a
mother commenced her journey towards loving herself. She realized that she
needed to start healing her damaged soul, so she could truly love her son and also
be his protector. She embraced a healthy lifestyle to heal her mind, body, and spirit.
She is now the mother of two beautiful children.
Teresa is the vice-president of Victims Refuse Silence, which was started by Virginia
Giuffre who’s also an Epstein victim. The objectives of Victims Refuse Silence are to
educate the public about sex trafficking, help prevent sex trafficking, and to assist
victims heal and rehabilitate themselves.
