There is a common misconception that healing trauma is a finite process comprised of a specific beginning and end point. This misconception results in the survivor chasing an elusive end point rather than learning to navigate the process; leaving them feeling a sense of failure. This workshop will dismantle the idea of the healing process being a one and done event. The material offered will empower participant's to navigate the healing process in order to discover what will best serve their individual healing needs. Trauma survivor's and advocates will learn and practice mindful techniques to manage emotions, flashbacks and even triggers. Participants will also learn the two most overlooked factors that will empower them to create a customized approach to their healing journey.
• Participants will identify and dismantle limiting beliefs created out of their trauma experience.
• Participants will leave this workshop with a sense of empowerment and ownership in their own healing journey.
