FREE REGISTRATION Don't miss this one-of-a-kind gathering for the movement to end sexual abuse and exploitation!
Girls need their fathers, and fathers need their girls. It has been said that the father-daughter relationship is fragile and unstable compared to all other parent-child relationships. Girls and women are disproportionately negatively impacted by sexual exploitation. On the other hand, men are disproportionately driving this exploitation.
Just as it is with a physical ailment, when addressing any social problem it is important to address both the symptoms and the primary causes. In this presentation, leaders will learn that family breakdown, particularly driven by fatherlessness, is one of the primary causes that fuels both the supply and the demand for sexual exploitation. Attendees will learn: how some contemporary ideas and laws are perpetuating fatherlessness, the ways fatherlessness and sexual exploitation are feeding off each other, and what advocacy groups, government officials, judges, and many others can do about turning the tide.
