Finding the Right Fit: what to consider for victim placement" will be presented by Melissa Yao, Executive Director of the National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance (NTSA). NTSA consists of a network of service providers serving survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation throughout the US. The Alliance Referral System (ARS) is a national program where a survivor, (or an agency, first responder, law enforcement, etc. that is supporting a survivor) can access for seeking placement into a program. As a comprehensive screening tool that includes specific questions of a survivors' needs, our ARS team will provide multiple options on available programs that can meet the needs of the survivor. Melissa will highlight many specific needs that survivors have requested through ARS, the wide range of programs that are facilitating care for survivors throughout the country, as well as the challenges in finding the right fit.
