This presentation will explore how men and boys who are sexually exploited in different cultures tend to be excluded in program and planning. It will give examples of how boys and young men are exploited in Cambodia, Thailand and the Philippines from empirical research conducted in this sub-region over the past ten years. Although there are literally hundreds of NGOs working with girls and women, the number working with boys in minimal. This research indicates that they are vulnerable to sexual violence, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation. Recommendations are made to Governments, NGOs, the legal and health sectors.
