Practice Tips: Please honor and listen to your body. Move with intention. Coordinate your breath with your movement.

YOGA PRACTICE

Yoga for Grounding: Our body stores tension in many areas but especially the lower back, hips, and thighs. This class will be grounding, slow, and intentional at rebalancing and calming the mind and body through gentle twists, passive backbends, and mild squats.

MEDITATION PRACTICE

Meditation is a process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. It can be beneficial in increasing awareness of yourself and your surroundings and has been shown to reduce stress and develop concentration.

Safe Place Exercise: This guided meditation will lead you through a ‘safe place exercise’. This meditation technique is beneficial for turning off the fight and flight response, finding safety within our bodies and grounding ourselves when we begin to feel dysregulated.
