Yoga for Neck and Shoulders: Many of us spend hours sitting in front of our computers or hunched over our phones. These repetitive patterns may cause neck and shoulder pain. This class will help us to realign our posture and release muscular and emotional tension.
MEDITATION PRACTICE
Meditation is a process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. It can be beneficial in increasing awareness of yourself and your surroundings and has been shown to reduce stress and develop concentration.
Practice Presence Guides Meditation: Bessel Van Der Kolk, MD, in his book The Body Keeps the Score says, “At the core of recovery is self-awareness.” In this guided meditation we will simply notice the gentle fluctuations of our breath and the feelings within our bodies. “Be Here Now”
